These fixtures are always massive for both clubs but this one in particular is a mammoth contest.

Spurs find themselves inexplicably just five points ahead of the relegation zone, which is the main reason why a change of manager occurred after their last game.

Igor Tudor comes in on an interim basis and is thrown straight in the deep end with Spurs desperately needing to climb the table from this precarious position.

It’s eight games without a win for Spurs now having come back back from 2-0 down to draw with Man City before defeats to Man Utd and Newcastle in the last two.

Their recent record in this derby has been pretty dismal so a real change in fortunes and performance is required here you’d think.

But they come up against an Arsenal side wounded after their midweek woes, when throwing away a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 at a Wolves side who’ve only now just hit double figures for points this season.

It was a dismal result for Mikel Arteta’s title chasers and many now believe it’s the start of an end-of-season slump yet again.

But it’s not exactly a result out of nowhere, with the Gunners only picking up 13 of the 24 points available to them so far in the Premier League in 2026, having drawn with Brentford, Nottingham Forest and Liverpool alongside that home defeat to Manchester United.

They cannot afford to drop points here.
