Nico Paz, 21, is one of the players most likely to return to Real Madrid this summer. The midfielder left the club in 2024 for Como and now Los Blancos can buy him back for nine million euros. His name is on the table, although he is currently focused on Italy.

In an interview with Sport Mediaset, Nico spoke about the possible return to Real Madrid and made clear what his thinking is today. "I don't want to think about those things. I'm 100% focused here, at Como. I want to give everything on the pitch. Then, if the opportunity arises in the future, we'll see," said the young Argentine international.

He also looked back to remember the goal he scored against Napoli at the Bernabeu, in the Champions League, with the white shirt. "It was pure happiness, I was a 'boy', I think about my second game with the first team. To score in the Champions League against a team like Napoli, with the monsters that played in Madrid, in a stadium like the Bernabeu... when I scored, everyone was shouting and chanting my name, it was an incredible feeling," he confessed.

Paz was also linked with Inter, although he left no room for doubt. "No, there hasn't been anything," explained the midfielder, who also reviewed his evolution since his arrival at Como. "I think I've matured in all aspects. I came here from Real Madrid Castilla, having never played in a first team. Last season was my first in Serie A, and now I feel much more mature, more prepared to play at this level. It's a good league, and I think about improving every day to keep growing," he said.

Fàbregas' weight in his jump

The Argentinean praised the season that Como is having. "We are having a good season, honestly we did not expect it to be so good, but the incredible work we have done is paying off and I think we deserve it," he said, before stopping at the figure of Cesc Fabregas, his coach. "Fabregas was the most important factor. He has a lot of faith in us, he is a young coach, a person who lives for football, works hard, studies a lot and allows me to play as I want, which is fundamental."
