Emotions poured out of every Indian cricket fan as Rohit Sharma-led India lifted the T20 World Cup trophy. Cricketers and fans share a strong bond in the country. This was evident when a video of Rohit Sharma having a video call with a fan after the T20 World Cup win went viral on social media. (The authenticity of the video is yet to be verified though.)

Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma along with the Indian team will take out a victory parade with the T20 World Cup trophy in Mumbai to celebrate the win with the fans back home. The team will first meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi in the morning before flying out to Mumbai for the victory parade. The open bus parade will start at Nariman Point at 5:00 PM and culminate at the iconic Wankhede Stadium.

The parade is not just a celebration of the team's iconic win in the World Cup but also a gratitude towards the fans for their unwavering support throughout the ups and downs. Meanwhile, a special ceremony will be held at the Wankhede Stadium where Rohit Sharma will hand over the World Cup trophy to BCCI secretary Jay Shah. The trophy will remain at the BCCI headquarters for the next two years, a constant reminder of this incredible achievement.
