Arsenal transfer news LIVE: Bruno Guimaraes update, announcement due, Bradley Barcola twist

Chelsea are favourites to sign Kerim Alajbegovic, according to The Telegraph.

football.london understands Alajbegovic is one of several wingers Arsenal are interested in alongside Bradley Barcola, Mika Godts and Yan Diomande. Serie A sides Atalanta, Fiorentina and Juventus are also reported to be interested in the Bosnia and Herzegovina international.

Xabi Alonso, who worked with the teenager at Bayer Leverkusen, is said to be enthusiastic about being reunited with Alajbegovic. The Bundesliga club sold him to Red Bull Salzburg last summer for around £2million only to exercise a £3million buy-back clause, with him now rated at ten times that amount.

Intermediaries have offered Zeno Debast to Arsenal after William Saliba's injury, according to the Daily Briefing.

The Gunners are said to have looked at him previously. Debast is reportedly available for around £34million, which is half his £68million release clause.

Sporting have the Belgium international under contract for another three seasons, but he has yet to agree a new deal since signing from Anderlecht two years ago.

Debast was at this summer's World Cup with Belgium. However, he did not feature due to a hamstring injury, with the Lisbon club effectively banning him from featuring in their quarter-final against Spain.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka is on Arsenal's list of replacements to cover for William Saliba, according to the Mail.

However, they are said not to be keen on West Ham United's reported £25million asking price. John Stones is another who apparently joins him on that list, with Raul Asencio of Real Madrid another name mentioned.

Arsenal apparently discussed Maxence Lacroix, but the France international appears in line to join Chelsea. The outlet also names Jacobo Ramon, but acknowledges that Inter are loath to lose the player.

Ezri Konsa also comes up. Arsenal and Aston Villa's valuation gap is described as miles apart.

Arsenal are considering Ezri Konsa and John Stones as cover for William Saliba, according to The Independent.

It is said that the club are looking into a significant investment at centre-back to partner Gabriel Magalhaes in defence. They are reportedly prepared to spend big on increasing their depth centrally rather than adding a temporary option on loan this summer.

The injury records of Ben White, Cristhian Mosquera, Jurrien Timber, Piero Hincapie and Riccardo Calafiori are cited as part of the reason behind deciding to make a move. Mikel Arteta's previous preference not to move his starting full-backs inside is also noted.

Arsenal have considered Eduardo Camavinga, according to the Mail.

Chelsea and Manchester City are also reported to be interested in the France international. It is said that Camavinga could leave the Spanish capital this summer, especially if they sign Rodri. Aurelien Tchouameni is named as another player who may well depart despite agreeing to a new contract earlier this summer.

His compatriot still has three years left on his current deal, but it remains to be seen how much head coach Jose Mourinho will play him. Camavinga is still only 23 but has already made over 300 senior appearances for club and country.
