Trinity Rodman Loves Her U.S. Open Boyfriend

There is one genre of spectator that everyone loves to see at the U.S. Open (or any sporting event for that matter), and that is the supportive significant other. Alexis Ohanian is usually the king in this department, but he is about to be dethroned by Trinity Rodman, who found a particularly adorable way to show up for her boyfriend on the court this year.

Rodman, who is a soccer player for the USWNT and the daughter of Dennis Rodman, came to support her tennis-player boyfriend, Ben Shelton, in his second match on Wednesday. She was seen cheering Shelton on wearing a black T-shirt reading, “I <3 My Boyfriend.” This is a delightful follow-up to her supportive performance at last year’s U.S. Open, when she hopped on a red-eye after her own NWSL game to watch Shelton win his first match. Who knew sports could be so romantic?
