MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The No. 40-ranked Harding men's tennis team displayed its depth and dominant form Tuesday afternoon, rolling to a 6-1 victory over Christian Brothers at the Leftwich Tennis Center.The Bisons (11-6) swept the doubles point and claimed five of the six singles matches to secure their second consecutive win.Doubles SweepHarding asserted control early by sweeping all three doubles flights. The No. 3-ranked duo of Adrian Solorzano and Cian Mikkelsen faced a stiff challenge at the No. 1 position but ultimately outlasted Benjamin Hanriot and Juan Ycaza, 7-5.The Bisons found quicker results on the lower courts. Luis Agullo and Sebastian De Las Salas opened the scoring with a 6-2 win at No. 3, while the No. 44-ranked pairing of Florian Gayme and Jan Alexander Has followed shortly after with a 6-3 victory at No. 2 to clinch the point.Singles DominanceHarding carried the momentum into singles play, winning five matches in straight sets. Sophomore Caleb Folse was the first off the court, delivering a flawless 6-0, 6-0 performance at the No. 4 spot to push the Harding lead to 2-0.Freshman Jan Alexander Has and senior Luis Agullo followed with efficient victories at No. 6 and No. 5, respectively, to secure the team win. Cian Mikkelsen added to the tally at No. 3 with a 6-0, 6-4 win, and Sebastian De Las Salas remained sharp at the No. 2 position with a 6-1, 6-2 victory.The final match of the day at No. 1 singles was a marathon battle between two nationally recognized players.
