Alexis Ohanian Brings Daughter Olympia, 8, to New York Liberty Game for ‘Papa-Daughter Basketball Night’

Alexis Ohanian had a father-daughter night out!

The Reddit co-founder, 43, shared a series of photos on his Instagram on Thursday, Aug. 27, after he took his 8-year-old daughter Olympia to a New York Liberty game in Brooklyn. The duo could be seen sitting courtside, right next to the team's mascot Ellie the Elephant.

He also shared a video of himself and Olympia watching Ellie dance on the court during the game, calling her a "star."

"Papa-Daughter basketball night with @bigellieliberty @nyliberty makes me realize all my teams need a mascot this awesome… thanks, Ellie, you made Jr's night!" Ohanian wrote in his caption.

Ohanian and his family — including daughters Olympia and Adira, 3 — have been in New York as they've been supporting wife Serena Williams during the US Open.

On Tuesday, Aug. 25, the proud dad shared a few photos on his Instagram after he brought his daughters to watch Williams play during the tournament.

In the picture, Ohanian could be seen putting an arm around his older daughter, who was carrying her sister on her hip. The three watched as Williams, 44, played mixed doubles alongside tennis pro Carlos Alcaraz. "Always cheering for mama @serenawilliams (and @carlitosalcarazz !!)," Ohanian wrote in his caption.

After Williams lost in the mixed doubles quarterfinals, news broke on Wednesday, Aug. 26, that she would be returning to the court alongside sister Venus Williams for the first time since 2022.

The sisters won a last-minute wild card entry and will play women's doubles. Serena and Venus, 46, have won the women's doubles title at the US Open twice, in 1999 and 2009, and 12 more times at the three other Grand Slams.

This past June, Ohanian shared how proud their family was of Serena after she lost a three-set match during Wimbledon. The tech entrepreneur and father of two beamed with pride from the players' box as his wife returned to competitive singles tennis.

"Our little family is so proud of you @serenawilliams - even though it wasn't the outcome you wanted, you're an inspiration," Ohanian wrote alongside a carousel of images posted later that day.

He added, "We love you. @olympiaohanian @adiraohanian are also happy they got to stay up a bit past their bedtime 😏."
