Everything to Know About Aryna Sabalenka’s Fiancé, Georgios Frangulis

Aryna Sabalenka may already be the number one women's tennis player in the world thanks to her four Grand Slam wins, but she's gearing up for another win at the 2026 U.S. Open, which kicked off on August 30. She's already on track for a historic three-peat after beating Colombia's Camila Osorio in the opening round on Monday, August 31.

Of course, her fiancé, Georgios Frangulis, showed up to support her during the match. The pair has been romantically linked for a little more than two years, marking Aryna's first relationship since her former boyfriend, Konstantin Koltsov, tragically died in 2024. As Georgios—who's also an athlete in his own right—continues to cheer on Aryna at the U.S. Open, here's everything you need to know about him and their sweet relationship.

Georgios studied law in Brazil

Yep. The Greek-Brazilian entrepreneur was born and raised in Sao Paolo, where he studied law at Fundação Armando Alvares Penteado in 2014.

In 2023, he told Forbes Brazil he didn't end up taking the bar exam or earning his degree. "I always knew I wouldn't be a lawyer," he explained, adding, "What I really wanted was to be an entrepreneur."

He's a motorsport athlete

Yep, Aryna isn't the only one winning trophies and medals. According to Driver Database, Georgios has competed in 128 races of the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge.

"If I maintain a routine of physical training in my daily life, in addition to psychological support to cope with the pressure [therapy twice a week], I'm always prepared for the moment of driving," he told Forbes Brazil. "Getting in the car and racing is one of the few moments when nothing else matters."

He's also the founder and CEO of Oakberry

I was today years old when I learned that Georgios is the mastermind behind Oakberry, a global fast-food chain that specializes in ready-to-go açaí bowls and smoothies.

Oh, and in case you wondered, Aryna is also a brand ambassador for Oakberry. Having your fiancée, who happens to be one of the top athletes in the world, as the face of your company? Not too shabby, Georgios.

Georgios was there for Aryna when she grieved her last boyfriend

After Konstantin tragically passed in 2024, Aryna opened up about leaning on Georgios as she grieved the loss.

"There was a really tough period where I was really happy to have him by my side, always cheering me up, always making sure that we are doing some fun stuff," she told People at the time.

He and Aryna got engaged in March 2026

According to their joint Instagram post announcing the news, Georgios popped the question to Aryna on March 3.

"You & me, forever ♾️ 3.3.26 💍🤍," the Grand Slam champ captioned a clip of his proposal.

She also cheekily captioned another post, "I can finally call him something else… FIANCÉ 💍."

Ofc, she referenced her shoutout to him at the Brisbane International tennis tournament in January 2026, where she said, "Thank you to my boyfriend ... Hopefully soon I can call you something else."
