Glamorgan sign England off-spinner Davis

Glamorgan women have announced the signing of England international Georgia Davis from Warwickshire.

Off-spinner Davis, 27, has signed a three-year deal as they prepare for Tier One status in 2027 and is a major coup by the Welsh club, having become Warwickshire's first women's captain in 2025.

A consistent performer across regional and franchise cricket, she made her England debut in a one-day game against Ireland in September 2024, having starred in the Rachael Heyhoe-Flint Trophy with Central Sparks that summer.

Davis has also featured regularly in The Hundred, representing Trent Rockets before playing 13 times for Welsh Fire in 2024 and 2025, so has already familiarised herself with Sophia Gardens and Welsh cricket supporters.

Glamorgan head of women and girl's cricket, Aimee Rees, added: "Georgia is a fantastic addition to our squad and we're delighted to have her on board.

"She brings a wealth of experience from international and franchise cricket, as well as strong leadership qualities, which will be invaluable to the group both on and off the field.
