Novak Djokovic will not compete at the ATP Finals 2024 in Turin this month, he announced on Tuesday (5 November).

The Olympic men's singles tennis champion will not return to defend the end-of-season title, which he won in 2023, citing injury reasons for his withdrawal from the end-of-season tournament.

Djokovic said on Instagram, “It’s quite an honour to qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. I was really looking forward to being there, but due to ongoing injury I won’t be playing next week.

“Apologies to those who were planning to see me. Wishing all the players a great tournament. See you soon!”
