Traffic restrictions at today’s Munster Senior Football Championship semi-final at Páirc Uí Chaoimh

Today’s Munster Senior Football Championship semi-final at Páirc Uí Chaoimh is expected to attract between 10,000 and 12,000 supporters.

An Garda Síochána’s Kerry division is reminding all attendees to plan their journey in advance.

The 202 and 212 bus routes both serve Páirc Uí Chaoimh, with stops at Ballintemple on Blackrock Road near the Venue Bar.

There is no dedicated parking at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, and parking restrictions will be in place in the surrounding areas.

Gardaí advise that those who must drive should arrange parking before arriving in Cork City.

Free parking is available at Midleton, Glounthaune, and Little Island for those travelling into the city by train or bus.

Alternatively, parking is available in Cork City car parks, followed by a 15-minute walk to the stadium via Centre Park Road or Monahan Road.

Illegally parked vehicles will be towed.

Drivers are reminded not to block entrances, footpaths, bus stops, or access routes for emergency services.

Parking in disabled bays without a valid permit is strictly prohibited.

All drivers in the area should be especially mindful of the high volume of pedestrians between 6pm and 9pm.

A designated taxi drop-off point will operate at the Monahan Road/Link Road junction until 6:30pm.
