Andoni Iraola's teams are always fun to watch and goals should flow freely when the Liverpool boss faces his former club Bournemouth on Sunday.

Iraola left the Cherries in great shape as they finished sixth in the Premier League after ending the season with an 18-match unbeaten run.

That secured Europa League qualification for his successor Marco Rose, who celebrated an impressive 2-1 away victory over Real Sociedad on Thursday.

Rose's next objective is to claim a first Premier League win although the quick turnaround is clearly a disadvantage for Bournemouth this weekend.

They have taken three points from their first four games but that tally does not reflect the quality of their performances.

The Cherries lost 2-1 at Manchester City in their opening fixture, leading until the 84th minute at the Etihad Stadium.

Score draws with Everton, Newcastle – who fought back from 2-0 down – and Brentford followed and they scored twice in the first 20 minutes against Real Sociedad this week.

Rose, like Iraola, is short of clean sheets so backing both teams to score and over 2.5 goals looks a solid bet on Sunday.

Last season's meetings made for exciting viewing. Liverpool won 4-2 at Anfield on the opening night of the campaign but Bournemouth's Amine Adli struck late to seal a 3-2 home win in January.

The Cherries had a division-high 18 draws last season and three of Liverpool's first four league games under Iraola ended all-square.

They drew 0-0 with Fulham at Anfield last weekend but most of their early matches, including 2-2 draws against Newcastle and Nottingham Forest, have been far more open.

Alexander Isak scored twice in the first nine minutes of Liverpool's 2-0 win at promoted Ipswich and the Reds also beat Atletico Madrid 2-1 in the Champions League and Tottenham 3-1 in the EFL Cup.

The post-Mohamed Salah attacking unit will take time to gel but Iraola is not short of options.

With Hugo Ekitike injured, Isak will lead the line and there is fierce competition for places behind the Sweden striker.

Bradley Barcola started against Atletico and Fulham, Cody Gakpo has made a fine start to the season and youngster Rio Ngumoha was named in the England squad on Friday.

But Liverpool's clean sheet at Ipswich was a rarity. Their last two opponents, Fulham and Tottenham, had more shots on target than the Reds, who make limited appeal in the match betting at Bournemouth.
