The main draw at the Pune Challenger 2025 tennis tournament will begin on the hard courts of the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex on Monday.

This will be the ninth edition of the ATP Challenger 100 tennis tournament in Pune. The Pune Challenger 2025 tennis matches will be available to watch on live streaming in India.

Manas Dhamne, Aryan Shah and Karan Singh all received wild cards for the tournament and will be seen competing in the main draw of the singles event.

World No. 1015 Manas Dhamne, aged 17, heads into the tournament after a USD 15000 ITF win at Monastir, Tunisia last week while 21-year-old Karan Singh, 500th in the ATP rankings, made his Davis Cup debut for India in a 4-0 sweep against Togo a couple of weeks ago.

There are four all-Indian duos in the doubles draw of the Pune Challenger. India’s Jeevan Nedunchezhiyan and Vijay Sundar Prashanth are the top seeds. Saketh Myneni and Ramkumar Ramanathan have also teamed up in the doubles section.

Ramkumar Ramanathan previously won the doubles title in the Pune Challenger with Vijay Sundar Prashanth and Purav Raja in 2018 and 2019, respectively, while Saketh Myneni too won the doubles title in 2014 with Sanam Singh.

India’s Niki Poonacha and Zimbabwe’s Courtney John Lock, who fell short in the final of the recently concluded Delhi Open, are also a part of the doubles draw.

As many as six Indian tennis players - Ramkumar Ramanathan, Mukund Sasikumar, Siddhant Banthia, Arnav Vijay Paparkar, Sidharth Rawat and Nitin Kumar Sinha - are competing in the qualification rounds for singles on Sunday.

Among the top international players in action at the Pune Challenger include top seed Billy Harris of Great Britain, second seed Vit Kopriva from Czechia and Australia’s Tristan Schoolkate, seeded third.

Monaco’s Valentin Vacherot won the singles title and the Australian pair of Tristan Schoolkate and Adam Walton emerged doubles winners in the 2024 edition of the Pune Challenger.

While Vacherot returns to defend his singles title this year, Tristan Schoolkate has teamed up with Blake Ellie for the 2025 edition in doubles. Adam Walton is not competing at the Pune Challenger 2025.

The Pune Challenger 2025 will conclude on February 23.
