Finally, the matchup everyone has been waiting for and were robbed of last season. The Detroit Lions take on the Philadelphia Eagles in a battle of two of the best teams in the NFC as they square off on “Sunday Night Football”. The Lions are coming off a bounce-back performance led by head coach Dan Campbell, who took over offensive playcalling duties, resulting in a 44-point performance. This week’s game will be a much tougher challenge as the Eagles currently hold the top spot in the NFC and aim to repeat as Super Bowl champions, led by their defense.“They have a style, and they’re very good at it. I wouldn’t say there’s anything necessarily complex about it, but it’s very sound. It’s very sound across the board,” said Campbell. “Coach Fangio, he’s a legend, man. It’s stood the test of time, that style of defense, the way they play. The coverage, the rush goes hand-in-hand. It’s a pain in the ass. It’s hard. It’s hard to deal with, offensively. I just think it’s good, sound football. And they don’t beat themselves. … When they need a critical play, they come up with a critical play. That’s what champions do. That’s why they’ve been able to have the success that they’ve had.”Here’s a look at our Pride of Detroit staff picks for the Lions in Week 11:For the rest of what the POD staff predicted for the NFL, check out our Week 11 predictions: Moneyline, spread, and over/under.Now, it’s your turn to have your voice heard.
