"I think the difficulty for Jadon is the wages because he'd have to be very, very realistic about what the wage packet was going to be. He'd have to decide, does he want to play for a club that isn't Dortmund in Germany? Does he feel some element of loyalty to Dortmund where he wouldn't want to rock up anywhere else? There's always going to be clubs that want to take him or want to try and develop him and showcase him and see if they can have him per year or two and then maybe sell him because you don't get free agents that talented very often," Hatchard told Casino.org. "So, he's always going to be attractive to a lot of clubs, but so far, nobody has quite gone for it, or he hasn't accepted one of the offers that he's received."

Sancho's connection with Dortmund is obvious. He exploded onto the European football scene during his first stint at the club, producing spectacular numbers and establishing himself as one of the Bundesliga's most dangerous attacking players before earning a big-money move to Manchester United.

His return to Dortmund in 2024 showed that the relationship between player and club had not completely disappeared, although he eventually moved on again.

Now, a potential reunion would likely require Sancho to make a significant financial decision. As Hatchard points out, his talent means clubs will remain interested, but the winger may need to accept lower wages to find the right sporting situation.
