Women’s EURO 2025 Quarter-final: Kick-off time, H2H & how to watch football live

Sweden and England meet in the quarter-finals of UEFA Women’s EURO 2025 on Thursday, 17 July.

Both nations have been crowned European football champions in previous editions, and on both occasions have defeated the other team en route to glory.

Sweden’s triumph came in the inaugural tournament in 1984 as they prevailed on penalties after two legs, in their first and only continental championship to date.

For England, they arrive in Switzerland as the defending champions from 2022, where a 4-0 trouncing of Sweden in the semi-finals booked the Lionesses’ spot in the final.

The winner of the final-eight clash will take on Norway or Italy in the semi-finals on 22 July, before the EURO 2025 final at Basel’s St. Jakob-Park on 27 July.
