Shubman Gill, India's ODI and Test captain, has suffered an injury and missed the Gujarat Titans vs Rajasthan Royals in the IPL 2026. Gill, the GT skipper, was replaced by star spinner Rashid Khan in the role. The Afghanistan star revealed that Gill suffered a muscle spasm. "We wanted to bowl first. Gill has a muscle spasm, hopefully he will be back soon. KK (Kumar Kushagra) is playing his first game and look forward to see him play. We played good cricket in the last game as well. Was a good game.
