Match Day Guide: Suncorp Stadium

The CommBank Matildas open their four-match home series against the Olympic silver medallists, Brazil, at Suncorp Stadium. The team makes their return to Brisbane for the first time since the history-making FIFA Women's World Cup last year which saw Australia record their best-ever finish.

🚪 Gates Open 🚪

Gates open at 6:00 pm for the event, ensure you head to the gate listed on your ticket for a seamless entry into the stadium.

Ensure your tickets are saved to your phone or printed out prior to arriving at the stadium.

👏 Saying farewell to a legend 👏

Join us in farewelling the legend Clare Polkinghorne and celebrating her incredible career in her final appearance in green and gold.

Make sure you have located your seats and are in them before kick-off to watch the presentation and say thank you to our highest-capped Matilda as she departs the team after 18 years of service.

👕 Merchandise 👕

Merchandise will be sold inside and outside the venue, head to the North Plaza Precinct off Caxton Street to purchase merchandise, with three stands situated in this area. Two merchandise containers will also be situated at the South Plaza Precinct, off Chippendale Street and near the Matildas Mural if you want to snap a photo.

Fans will be able to purchase merchandise inside the stadium too, with Merchandise stands situated on Level 3 at the North and South End (behind both goals).

🍫 Match Day Activations 🍫

Our partners will have tents set up around the Suncorp Stadium precinct for fans to enjoy before kick-off, with Coles/MiniRoos, Subway, CUPRA & Cadbury set up at the North Plaza Precinct off Caxton Street.

Face painters, DJs, Brisbane Roar and more will have spaces at the North Plaza Precinct. The Queensland Fire Department will have a spot in the precinct, find them in the North Plaza Precinct.

Please stay informed and adhere to the Suncorp Stadium Conditions of Entry. Be mindful of prohibited items and activities, such as smoking, vaping, and the use of electronic cigarettes.

All persons agree to also comply with the Football Australia Conditions of Entry and Spectator Code of Behaviour.

🌻 This is a Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Friendly Event 🌻

In conjunction with Autism Spectrum Australia, the sunflower program has also been introduced at Suncorp Stadium.

The sunflower is a globally recognised symbol for non-visible disabilities, also known as hidden disabilities or invisible disabilities. Patrons may choose to wear a lanyard throughout an event to discreetly identify to venue staff that they may need extra help, time or guidance.

If you need additional assistance, please approach one of the staff who has a Sunflower lanyard or pin. If you don’t have a Sunflower lanyard, a free lanyard can be collected from staff at the information stands and corporate entrances.

Suncorp Stadium has a Quiet Room located on the Level 3 concourse inside Gate A. See the stadium map.

A Quiet Room is a safe space for people to go if they become overwhelmed during events.

Public transport is the best way to get to Suncorp Stadium and is included FREE* with your event ticket on all Queensland Rail City Network (excluding Airtrain & Ferries) and all Transport for Brisbane Bus Services.
