BOISE, Idaho – Former Boise State offensive lineman Mason Randolph accepted an invitation to play in the inaugural American Bowl, the organization announced. Held on the campus of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida, the game will be broadcast nationally on NFL Network at 6 p.m. MT on Jan. 22. The bowl features over 130 NFL Draft prospects, led by former NFL head coaches Brian Billick and Mike Smith.Randolph appeared in 39 games across his five years with the Broncos, starting 38. He made starts at center, left guard and right guard throughout his career. In 2022, he did not allow a sack, earning Freshman All-America honors from the FWAA and College Football News. The following season, he paved the way for a rushing attack that ranked sixth in the country with 214.9 yards per game.After suffering an injury in the 2024 season opener, Randolph returned to the lineup to lead Boise State to the Mountain West title and a berth in the College Football Playoff. Running back Ashton Jeanty finished the year with 2,601 rushing yards, second-most in FBS single-season history. Randolph started all 14 games for the Broncos in 2025, earning All-MW First Team honors for the first time in his career. Boise State captured its third-straight MW title, defeating UNLV for the third-consecutive season.The American Bowl supports active military and veteran communities through the Military Thriving initiative. Its partner organizations, ZeroMils and Soldiers to Sidelines, have connected them with the mission of creating post-active-service career opportunities for veterans on the football field.
