Transfer news LIVE!

Arsenal are finalising a deal for Bruno Guimaraes as Chelsea, Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham also look to secure some huge signings in a busy final month to the summer window. Guimaraes is expected to undergo a medical soon as a transfer worth around £80million is close to being sealed with Newcastle, while Arsenal were also said to have made a breakthrough with Vinicius Jr - whom Jose Mourinho expects back for Real Madrid training on Monday. The Gunners are also now being linked with World Cup final match-winner Ferran Torres.

Manchester United are edging closer to signing Lewis Hall and are pursuing a shock deal for Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly, whose future could be impacted by Guimaraes’ arrival. Hall has reportedly rejected a return to Chelsea, who are making progress over Pep Chavarria after signing Valentin Barco and still eyeing Alex Scott amid shock exit links surrounding Joao Pedro. Liverpool are preparing a new move for Bradley Barcola, while they could sell Tottenham target Cody Gakpo.

Spurs are said to have made a surprise approach for Victor Osimhen, while Manchester City are lining up a deal for Pedro Neto as Atletico Madrid target Jack Grealish. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Arsenal lead race for shock Ferran Torres deal

Arsenal are being linked with a shock move for Ferran Torres.

There have been suggestions that Barcelona could be willing to offload Spain’s extra-time World Cup final match-winner for as little as €35m this summer.

That has led to clubs queueing up for Torres, who has previous Premier League experience with Manchester City.

Estadio Deportivo have claimed that Arsenal could now be leading the race, ahead of north London rivals Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain.

Victor Osimhen open to move after Tottenham bid

It was claimed over the weekend that Spurs had made an approach for the Nigeria striker worth approximately £55m, with Galatasaray looking for a fee more in the region of £65m.

Catalan outlet SPORT now report that Osimhen could be open to leaving the Turkish giants in the final weeks of the summer transfer window, with Galatasaray also said to be considering a potential parting of ways.

Chelsea and Barcelona have also been linked with Osimhen, who has been on Manchester United’s radar plenty in the past.

Man Utd get new Hall and Lewis-Skelly boosts

Bruno Guimaraes’ imminent transfer to Arsenal could yet be very good news for Manchester United.

It has also been reported in recent days that the Red Devils are eyeing a shock swoop for Myles Lewis-Skelly, whose Gunners future looked in real doubt before he made a hugely successful switch to a midfield role under Mikel Arteta late last season.

The arrival of a new top-level midfielder in Guimaraes could give United extra incentive in their pursuit of Lewis-Skelly.

There has also been a huge boost for Manchester United in their chase for Newcastle left-back Lewis Hall.

The Sun carries a report suggesting that Hall has rejected the chance to return to former club Chelsea as another potential key exit from St James’ Park looms.

Vinicius Jr to Arsenal twist with key day ahead

Speaking of high-profile Arsenal transfer sagas, the Vinicius Junior version is also full of twists and turns.

It was reported over the weekend that the Gunners had made a breakthrough with regards to a blockbuster move for the Brazil superstar, having agreed the outline of a personal deal, per The Independent.

However, returning Real Madrid boss Jose Mourinho confirmed after last night’s 2-2 pre-season friendly draw with Fiorentina in Austria that Vinicius Jr is expected back at the club for training on Monday amid his ongoing contract stand-off.

Arsenal fans will be keeping a close eye to see if that happens...

Bruno Guimaraes set for Arsenal medical today

The long Bruno Guimaraes to Arsenal transfer saga is almost at an end.

It has been weeks of non-stop speculation and drama as the Gunners target a statement swoop for Newcastle’s influential captain.

However, it appears that Arsenal are finally set to get their man, with multiple outlets including the Sunday Times reporting that an agreement between the two clubs worth around £80m is finally on the verge of being sealed.

Guimaraes is expected to undergo a medical today, rather than begin pre-season training with Newcastle in La Manga after an extended post-World Cup break, as was previously planned.

Why Jude Bellingham clashed with new Chelsea signing

Chelsea have confirmed the signing of Valentin Barco, though the versatile midfielder has already made a name for himself - and not entirely for the right reasons.

Barco was part of the Argentina squad that finished runners-up to Spain at the World Cup 2026, making just one appearance all tournament as a substitute in the final Group J fixture against Jordan.

Despite not featuring in the semi-final win over England, the 22-year-old still managed to make the headlines following an incident involving Jude Bellingham at full-time.

Amid Argentina’s post-match celebrations, clips soon circulated of Bellingham hitting Barco seemingly without provocation on the back of the head as the new Chelsea signing joined his team-mates on the pitch, prompting an angry response from the midfielder and those around him.

The pair exchanged words before teammates from both sides stepped in to prevent the confrontation from escalating further.

However, new footage appears to suggest where Bellingham’s motive came from.
