ICC Women’s World Cup: Ticket prices for league matches in first phase kept a record low of Rs 100

With the ICC Women’s World Cup just three weeks away, the International Cricket Council has released the ticketing details for the event which will be held in India and Sri Lanka. Tickets for all league matches in India which will be played in Indore, Vizag, Guwahati and Mumbai has been kept at a record low of Rs 100 for the first phase of the games.

The Women’s 50-over World Cup is set to commence from September 30 with India taking on Sri Lanka in the opening fixture at Guwahati. M Chinnaswamy Stadium was originally supposed to host the opening fixture, but after Karnataka State Cricket Association couldn’t get necessary clearance from the local state government, their matches have been moved elsewhere with DY Patil Stadium in Mumbai added to the host venues.
