Man Utd 'make ANOTHER transfer enquiry for Ismaila Sarr' after trying to sign Crystal Palace star TWICE before

MANCHESTER UNITED have made an enquiry for Crystal Palace star Ismaila Sarr, according to reports in France.

The Senegalese winger, 28, is said to be on Michael Carrick‘s radar as the Red Devils look to strengthen on the wing.

Although he is not United‘s main target, Sarr has the type of profile being considered by the Old Trafford dlub, according to French publication Foot Mercato.

Their recruitment team will reportedly explore several options before advancing with one.

Sarr, who is a childhood United fan, is likely to be attracted by the proposition of a move, despite Crystal Palace‘s qualification for the Europa League after their Conference League triumph.

He’s reportedly called United his ‘dream club’ in the past.

The winger, who farms cattle with his dad to shun the limelight, was Senegal‘s star during this summer’s World Cup, scoring four goals in the four games they played.

His productive World Cup followed his best ever season at club level, where he scored 21 goals in all competitions and was top scorer in the Conference League.

His exploits in Europe also led to him being named Player of the Tournament.

And while he’s been linked to United in the past, this could be the summer for Sarr, who is entering the prime years of his football career.

But a switch doesn’t look that simple with Marcus Rashford‘s future is lying in doubt after Barcelona opted for England team-mate Anthony Gordon instead of him.

The signing of a winger may depend on whether United can offload their academy graduate.

Additionally, United have been linked to Dutch star Crysencio Summerville as another option.

However, that could also be difficult as Roma look to be in the driving seat for the West Ham winger, 24, and might be rivalled by Aston Villa, who are reportedly plotting a move of their own.
