Alex Eala now 52nd in WTA live rankings

(UPDATE) JUST after she achieved her career high in the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) standings, Philippine tennis star Alex Eala is expected to make the climb once again.

Presently ranked 53rd in the official WTA rankings, Eala is currently ranked 52nd in the live ranks.

This comes as she returned to China to prepare for the Guangzhou Open, where she will play in the singles and doubles tournaments.

Her continued rise was attributed to her Guadalajara Open championship last month. as well as appearances in several other WTA tournaments.
