The midfielder ended his three-game exile from the Ibrox squad and netted against Hibs in the 2-0 winDelighted Nicolas Raskin admitted he was buzzing to "finally" return to the Rangers side as he opened up on talks with Russell Martin. The midfielder hasn't played a minute for Rangers since the 6-0 hammering in the Champions League playoff at the hands of Club Brugge - with Martin freezing him out for the last three games. But having been given the green light to return to the side by the under-fire boss, he made his mark netting the first goal against Hibs to see the Light Blues on the path to the Premier Sports Cup semi-final with a 2-0 victory.Speaking to Premier Sports, the 24-year-old said: "It felt great. We have been working hard this week and we are just happy to put it in on the pitch. So, I think we played pretty well and scored some good goals, so just happy."Asked if it was nice to be back on the pitch, the returning star smirked: "Yes, finally."The key man was then pressed on his unseen row with Martin, and was playing his cards close to his chest. He elaborated: "Listen, I think it's in the past now. We put in a good performance and have to look forward."I think, everything has not been perfect. I didn't enjoy some parts of it, I think the manager didn't enjoy some part of it."We had a good chat, and hopefully we can work together and have a very good spell together and move on. It's a thing that happens in football."We are an emotional club, and an emotional team. I just want to win, we just want to give back to the fans what they give to us."I think the support of the fans was amazing. Well, for someone that is not born here it just feels amazing."So, yeah when I go on the pitch I try to give everything for me teammates, for the fans and then just try to win every game now. What is in the past is in the past, we move forward."Follow Record Sport on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram for all of the up-to-the minute breaking news, video and audio on the SPFL, the Scotland national team and beyond. You can get all the news you need on our dedicated Rangers page, and sign up to our newsletters to make sure you never miss a beat throughout the season. We're also on WhatsApp where we bring all the latest breaking news and transfer gossip directly to you phone.
