On Sunday, February 16, the International Cricket Council (ICC) revealed that extra tickets for India’s matches and the first semi-final of the Champions Trophy will be up for sale. The tickets will go live at 12 pm Gulf Standard Time on Sunday, and for fans in India, they will be available from 1:30 pm IST.India will play all their group-stage matches in Dubai, starting with the opener against Bangladesh on February 20. Three days later, they will face their arch-rivals, Pakistan, in a highly anticipated clash, followed by their final group match against New Zealand on March 2. The Dubai International Cricket Stadium will also host the first semi-final on March 4.“Tickets for India’s opening group match against Bangladesh on February 20 will be made available, as well as tickets for their games against Pakistan on February 23 and New Zealand on March 2, within the eight-team tournament.”The statement from the ICC also mentioned that there will be a limited number of tickets available for semi-final 1, which will be held at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday, March 4.The ICC’s media release also mentioned that ticket sales for the final will commence after the first semi-final. If India reaches and wins the first semi-final, the final will be moved to Dubai.In other news, the Indian team arrived in Dubai on Saturday, February 15, ahead of the tournament. The first batch of players, including Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, departed from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport in Mumbai. After a 3-hour flight, they received a warm welcome upon arrival in Dubai.
