Jammu & Kashmir registered one of the biggest wins in their history of the Ranji Trophy when the visiting team outclassed Mumbai. Chasing 205 runs, J&K completed the proceedings affect losing five wickets on Day 3 of the contest. Shubham Khajuria (45), Vivrant Sharma (38), Abid Mushtaq (32*), Abdul Samad and Yawer Hassan (24) were brilliant with the bat.Mumbai had six Indian players but barring Shardul Thakur, the remaining failed to impress. Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Ajinkya Rahane, Shreyas Iyer, Shivam Dubey and Shardul Thakur were part of the playing XI. The reigning champions managed 120 and 290 across both innings.On the other hand, the minnows of domestic cricket amassed 206 & 207/5 to stun the Ajinkya Rahane’s team.Yudhvir Singh ( 7 wickets), Umar Nazir Mir (6 wickets) and Auqib Nabi (6 wickets) were the main reason behind Jammu & Kashmir’s memorable win.
