Paris Olympics 2024 LIVE UPDATES Day 12: Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu medal event at 11 PM IST

Wrestler Vinesh Phogat's dream of a Oympic medal was shattered on the morning of her Gold Medal match as she was overweight. Weightlifter Mirabai Chanu will also compete in a medal match today, with her event beginning at 11:00 PM IST. Meanwhile, the Indian women’s table tennis team, comprising Manika Batra, Sreeja Akula's Paris Olympics campaign comes to an end after losing thier quarterfinal match against Germany by 1-3.

In athletics, India's Annu Rani failed to qualify for the women's javelin throw finals after finishing on 15th position in her group. Priyanka Goswami and Suraj Panwar failed to finish thier mixed marathon walk relay after being disqualified for bent knee, while Jyothi Yarraji failed to qualify for the finals of women’s 100m hurdles after finishing 8th in her qualification heat. In men's triple jump event, India's Sarvesh Kushare failed to qualify for the finals after finishing 13th in his group.

In wrestling Antim Panghal was eliminated from women's 53kg freestyle event after losing her 1/8 elimination match by 0-10.
