The 194cm highly talented basketballer has represented Australia at multiple junior levelsFresh off a week in China with NBA superstar Steph Curry, in-demand 18-year-old Indy Cotton has signed with Adelaide as a Category B Rookie.The 194cm highly talented basketballer has represented Australia at multiple junior levels, including Under 16s where he won gold at the FIBA Asian Championship in 2023.Despite now living in Queensland, Cotton grew up playing junior football in South Australia.His father Jarrod, a member of Port Adelaide’s inaugural squad in 1997, spent the bulk of his playing days in the SANFL before transitioning into coaching.Crows General Manager List Management Justin Reid described Indy as exciting talent who could carve out a long career in football.“We’re delighted to be Indy’s club of choice,” Reid said.“He’s an extremely talented kid who, despite a few years out of the game, has all the ingredients to succeed at AFL level.“His footballing pedigree is clearly evident from his father, and we firmly believe he can be a hugely valuable addition to our squad.”
