Gameday: Texas A&M vs Missouri State

The eighth ranked Texas A&M Aggies opens its 2026 season Saturday night when the Aggies welcome the Missouri State Bears to Kyle Field. ESPN will broadcast the game nationally with kickoff set for 6:05 p.m.

The teams will meet for the first time in the two programs' histories. Texas A&M enters its 133rd season of football, while Missouri State enters its second season at the FBS level after making the jump from FCS to FBS ahead of the 2025 season.

Texas A&M is 19-7 in season-openers since 2000, including an 8-2 record in its last 10. In home openers, the Aggies are 23-3 in their last 26 matchups with a 9-1 record over the last 10 seasons.
