Marcus Rashford is said to have looked to hit the ground running after joining Aston Villa on loan from Manchester United in a surprising last-minute deal.

The England international looks to have proven Ruben Amorim, who questioned his professionalism, wrong by reportedly insisting on coming into Bodymoor Heath on his first days off.

According to The Sun, Rashford has been a dedicated professional and model student under Unai Emery, hitting the ground running and coming in for some punishing sessions when he could have been at home. The star signing is available for the weekend's FA Cup clash against Tottenham although it's not yet been confirmed if he'll be selected.

The 27-year-old is reported to have already made a good impression on his new teammates and coaches and has committed himself to life at Villa Park during his spell at the club. The forward has reportedly made the decision to not commute from his home in Manchester to the Villa training ground and is said to be already looking at houses to make the move to the Midlands.

Only knowing life at Manchester United having come through their academy, Rashford seems to have taken to life at Villa Park making himself known to all the staff and putting in the effort with his new coaches.

On the move, Portuguese manager Amorim said: “I couldn’t put Marcus to see the way you’re supposed to play football and to train the way I see it. Sometimes you have one player that is really good with one coach, and the same player with another coach is different."

Rashford officially joined Villa on loan until the end of the season but the contract has an option to make the move permanent for £40 million if he was to impress Emery and take to life at Villa Park.
