India's bowlers produced a disciplined all-round performance to restrict Ireland to 154/8 after Shreyas Iyer opted to field in the second and final T20I in Belfast.

Harry Tector and Ben Calitz steadied the innings with a 65-run partnership for the fourth wicket. While Tector anchored the innings with a composed 53 off 47 balls in his 100th T20I appearance, Calitz injected momentum with a brisk 37 off 23 deliveries, targeting India's fifth bowler to lift the scoring rate.

Just when Ireland looked set to launch a strong finish, Shivam Dube swung the momentum back in India's favour. The all-rounder dismissed Calitz with a catch in the deep before bowling Gareth Delany with an off-cutter on the very next delivery, halting the hosts' charge.

Prince Yadav capped a memorable T20I debut with figures of 3/22, while Arshdeep Singh claimed two wickets and Harshit Rana chipped in with one. Axar Patel kept things tight through the middle overs, and Iyer's bowling changes ensured Ireland never regained complete control.

Although Tector completed his ninth T20I half-century, Ireland managed only 154/8, a total that looked below par on a good batting surface after they were well placed to push beyond 170 at one stage.
