Mirra Andreeva leaves fans angry following ‘naughty’ moment’ at the Dubai Open

Mirra Andreeva and Swiatek were contesting an intense first set at the Dubai Open, when an incident occurred.

The 17-year-old approached the net and completed a volley, but she did so while touching the net, which is against the rules.

Swiatek believed her opponent touched the net, and after a long review which showed that Andreeva touched the net, the point was awarded to Swiatek.

But fans were not happy with Andreeva and claimed she knew she touched the net and should have admitted it, rather than allowing the point to be reviewed.
