'Outstanding' forward who's outscoring Harry Kane 'dreams' of Arsenal transfer in 2025

The transfer window does not open again until January, but that hasn’t stopped all the rumours surrounding Arsenal.

The Gunners had a very solid summer window. They signed Riccardo Calafiori, Mikel Merino and David Raya on permanent deals and also brought in Raheem Sterling and Neto on loan.

That has made Mikel Arteta’s side a lot more complete than it was in the previous campaign, which increases their chance of winning the Premier League title.

Arsenal fans are keen to know whether their side will invest again in January, and one attacker is said to be dreaming of a move to the Emirates.

Omar Marmoush ‘dreams’ of a move to Arsenal

Many people feel Arsenal still need to sign a new striker.

The Gunners decided against strengthening up top in the summer. Arsenal tried to sign Benjamin Sesko, but he rejected them and decided to stay at RB Leipzig.

Edu and Mikel Arteta didn’t want to splash big money on anyone else, and it will be interesting to see if that will change in one of the two windows in 2025.

One striker who has been linked with a move to Arsenal is Omar Marmoush of Eintracht Frankfurt.

The Egyptian has made a brilliant name for himself in the Bundesliga over the last two years. He scored 17 goals and provided six assists last season and has directly contributed to 12 goals in just eight games already this term.

Marmoush is destined for a big move one day, and BILD journalist Christian Falk has claimed that the striker’s dream is to join a club like Arsenal or Liverpool.

He told CaughtOffside: “West Ham are in need of a young striker and, in the end, their ability to sign Omar Marmoush will come down to a question of money. Frankfurt are not prepared to sell the player in January, however, and have set a €40-50m price tag for the next summer window.

“Smaller clubs like Nottingham Forest (who unsuccessfully bid €30m this summer) and Fulham, who did hold interest in the player in the prior window, were ultimately not considered viable options for Marmoush to leave Frankfurt behind. That said, West Ham would have a chance next summer.

“Though, it shouldn’t go unsaid that Marmoush still dreams of playing for top Premier League clubs like Liverpool or Arsenal.

“I don’t think, at the moment, he’s a striker made for the big six in England, but West Ham would be a perfect club for him. Meanwhile, he’s performing very well in Germany and tops the Bundesliga scoring chart ahead of Harry Kane.”

Who is Omar Marmoush?

Marmoush is a versatile 25-year-old attacker who plays for Eintracht Frankfurt and the Egypt national team. He has played most of his senior club football in Germany.

After playing for clubs like Wolfsburg, St. Pauli and Stuttgart, Marmoush joined Eintracht Frankfurt on a free transfer in 2023 and he has been a star there.

Capable of playing anywhere in the front three as well as in attacking midfield, Marmoush has made a brilliant name for himself at the Deutsche Bank Park and has been attracting a ton of interest.

Since the start of this season, he has scored six goals and provided three assists in just five appearances in the Bundesliga. That’s a better goalscoring record than Bayern Munich superstar Harry Kane, who has scored five times in the league so far.

Marmoush is an ‘outstanding‘ player and has a bright future ahead of him, but whether his dream of playing for Arsenal will be fulfilled remains to be seen.
