Listen to articleThe Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the schedule for the 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) on Friday, with the tournament set to begin on April 11.The six-team competition will feature 34 matches, running from April 11 to May 18. Lahore's Gaddafi Stadium will host 13 of these matches, including the final and two eliminators.The tournament will kick off with defending champions Islamabad United facing Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.An exhibition match will be held on April 8 in Peshawar's Arbab Niaz Stadium, with teams to be confirmed in the coming weeks.The tournament schedule will see Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium hosting 11 matches, including Qualifier 1 on May 13. Karachi’s National Bank Stadium and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five games.There will also be three double-header days, including two on weekends and one on Labour Day ( May 1).Karachi Kings, the winners of HBL PSL’s fifth edition, will begin their campaign on April 12 against Multan Sultans, the runners-up from the previous season. Multan Sultans, the champions of PSL 6, will play their first home match on April 22 against Lahore Qalandars at Multan Cricket Stadium.Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will open its gates on April 24, welcoming the home team Qalandars, the champions of PSL 7 and 8, to play against Peshawar Zalmi. The Peshawar Zalmi, winners of PSL 2017, will play five matches at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, while Quetta Gladiators, champions of PSL 4, will have five matches at Gaddafi Stadium.HBL PSL Chief Executive Officer, Salman Naseer, expressed his excitement about the event: "We are thrilled to announce the schedule for this landmark 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League.
