Colombo Kaps are entering the latter phase of the league in confident mood having recently secured back-to-back wins, beating Dambulla Sixers and Kandy Royals respectively. Momentum is high and all the players are stepping up under pressure. The batting in particular has been outstanding, piling up consecutive scores of over 190 to overwhelm their opponents.

Jaffna Kings will need to find a way to counter such batting firepower if they are to stand a chance of defeating the Kaps. They proved capable of doing just that recently, putting 199/4 on the board in a 93-run win against Kandy Royals. But with Colombo’s depth down the order, backing them warrants consideration.
