The Carlton Football Club is able to confirm changes to its coaching department, following the conclusion of the 2025 AFL season.The Carlton Football Club is able to confirm changes to its coaching department, following the conclusion of the 2025 AFL season.Head of Coaching Performance and Innovation Aaron Greaves and assistant coach Aaron Hamill will depart IKON Park, alongside Development and Talent Manager Tom Lonergan, who has informed the Club he has taken an opportunity elsewhere.Following today’s announcement, the Blues will now look to revamp their coaching structure ahead of 2026, with further updates to be communicated at the appropriate time.Both Greaves and Hamill joined the coaching group at the end of 2021, with Hamill in charge of the backline over the last four seasons, while Greaves has supported the role and function of the Club’s coaching group and football program.Lonergan joined the Blues prior to the 2023 season, predominantly involved in player development and progress over the last three seasons.“Our Club would like to thank all three coaches for their dedicated contribution during their time at the football club and we wish them well in their next steps,” Carlton Acting GM of Football Len Villani said.“We will now work through the overall structure of our AFL coaching group going into 2026 and will communicate those updates with our members accordingly.”
