Chelsea completed the signing of Jorrel Hato over the weekend to continue their rich history with Dutch players.It’s certainly been a hectic summer transfer window for the Blues, both in terms of incomings and outgoings, and Jorrel Hato sealed his move to Stamford Bridge from Ajax a couple of days ago.Despite claims that Hato was on Real Madrid’s radar, the 19-year-old defender has completed a transfer to Chelsea, where he’s penned a seven-year contract.The Netherlands international should fill a great role in the Blues squad because of their versatility to cover left-back and centre-half. It is such a relief for the squad that Hato has arrived to provide cover and competition going into the 2025/26 season.
