Dundee United remain without midfielder Craig Sibbald, who continues to be sidelined by a hamstring problem.

Isaac Pappoe is also out with a knee injury, while centre-back Bert Esselink is not expected to feature as he continues his recovery from his physical issue though he has been on the bench in the previous few matches.

Additionally, Kristijan Trapanovski is in doubt after being sent for a scan on a troublesome knee issue that he suffered against Falkirk.

Amar Fatah will once again start on the left side of the attack. He already has seven goals in this season and scored in his last two league matches.

Celtic is still missing Arne Engels, Callum Osmand, Alistair Johnston, Adam Montgomery, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Jota through injuries.

Callum McGregor missed Celtic’s last two matches but is now expected to make a return. Martin O’Neill is hopeful that he will be fit for this match.

Kasper Schmeichel is definitely out for the season and might miss up to a year after it is confirmed that he requires two separate surgeries to recover from it.
