Open-top bus parades to take place in Farnham

Two open-top bus parades will take place in Farnham on Monday to celebrate the success of local sports teams.

Both Farnham Town Football Club and Farnham Rugby Club have won their respective leagues, and celebratory events have been scheduled by Farnham Town Council to mark the successes.

Road closures in Farnham will begin at 14:30 BST on Castle Street, where the parades will take place.

Free buses will also be in operation to help fans of both teams get to Castle Street, picking up people from Drovers Lane and Farnham Rugby Club.
