Passengers taking the ferry from Liverpool have been warned of congestion

Passengers taking the fast craft to the Isle of Man on Monday have been warned to expect congestion in Liverpool due to the Premier League victory parade.

The celebration, which also marks Liverpool Football Club winning their 20th English league title win, will take place from 14:30 BST and is expected to last three to five hours.

While there will be access to the Isle of Man Ferry Terminal in Liverpool all day, vehicle passengers will only be able to approach the facility from the north of the city.

The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has urged passengers to "plan in advance" for travel to the terminal due to expected congestion.
