Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been challenged with several questions about his time at Manchester United, including the most underrated player he shared the dressing room with.

Manchester United have many legends, but few played for the club before taking charge of the dugout as first-team manager.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was known as the ‘Baby-Faced Assassin’ when he arrived at United from Molde in 1996 for a fee worth £1.5 million.

The Norwegian made 366 appearances for United, scoring 126 goals, including a late stoppage time winner in the 1999 Champions League final to complete the treble.

Solskjaer would return to United as caretaker manager in December 2018 following the sacking of Jose Mourinho and was appointed permanently in March 2019. He would guide the Red Devils to three semi-finals and two top-four Premier League finishes.

The biggest change for Solskjaer to achieve silverware as United manager came in the 2021 Europa League final, but United lost on penalties against Villarreal.

Solskjaer was sacked in November 2021 before being replaced by Ralf Rangnick on an interim basis.
