England completed a 3-0 clean sweep of Pakistan with an eight-wicket win in the third Test at Edgbaston, finishing a one-sided series in style. The hosts won the three matches by an innings and 103 runs, 194 runs, and eight wickets. Pakistan’s tour ended on a disappointing note despite major changes before the final Test. The team made several changes to the playing squad and coaching staff ahead of the Edgbaston match, but the move did not change the outcome. Pakistan were bowled out for 133 in the first innings, the fifth time in the series they failed to cross the 200-run mark. They responded with a much better effort in the second innings, scoring 449 after fifties from Azan Awais, Shan Masood, Babar Azam and debutant Razaullah, whose lower-order batting stood out. England had already taken control of the match by building a 320-run first-innings lead, with five batters scoring half-centuries. Chasing 130 for victory, England lost openers Ben Duckett and Emilio Gay in the first over to Mohammad Abbas. Joe Root and Jordan Cox then scored unbeaten fifties to guide England home.
