IND vs ENG Live Cricket Score, 1st Test Day 4: KL Rahul has become the Indian cricket team’s fourth centurion in the first India vs England Test at Headingley after crossing the three-figure mark on the fourth day of the Leeds Test on Monday. Rahul got to his century after a patient 202-ball knock with batting partner Rishabh Pant also edging closer to his second century of the series.

Earlier, Rahul and Pant had helped India navigate safely to lunch with the score reading 153/3. At the end of the first session of day 4, the visitors had racked up a lead of 159 runs. India had lost captain Shubman Gill early on in the first session. There was a bit of mayhem in the first half hour of Day 4 largely thanks to Pant galloping down the pitch now and then as he tried to throw Chris Woakes and Brydon Carse off their lines. Rahul, at the other end, was a picture of calm.

After the early dismissal of opener Yashasvi Jaiswal, Rahul and Sai Sudharsan had steadied the ship for India in the second innings. The duo added 66 for the second wicket before England skipper Ben Stokes removed Sudharsan just at the stroke of stumps.
