PSL 10: Saim Ayub opens up on fiery chat with Mohammad Amir

In the second match of the 10th edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Saim Ayub revealed what Mohammad Amir said during their on-field exchange.

The match between Peshawar Zalmi and Quetta Gladiators featured a moment of fiery exchange between Saim and Amir, which quickly went viral.

During the game in Rawalpindi, fast bowler Mohammad Amir delivered a ball that Saim Ayub tried to play but failed to connect.

This moment led to a brief verbal exchange between the two players, which was caught on camera and sparked widespread curiosity among fans.

After the match, Saim Ayub addressed the media in a post-match press conference and was asked about what Amir had said to him on the field.

Saim laughed and explained that the conversation was playful, saying, “Yeh agar main na bataaun toh?” (What if I don’t tell you).

Saim stressed that such back-and-forth comments are common in cricket and are part of the spirit of the game among professionals.

It’s worth noting that Quetta Gladiators won the match convincingly, beating Peshawar Zalmi by 80 runs in a high-scoring contest.

Peshawar Zalmi, while chasing 217 runs, were bowled out for 136 in just 15.1 overs, handing Quetta a dominant win early in the tournament.
