😡 Cristiano Ronaldo speaks out after fans taunt him with Diogo Jota

Outrageous incident in the Saudi league. Cristiano Ronaldo SPOKE OUT after Al-Taawon fans used Diogo Jota as a form of provocation.

Diogo Jota died at 28 in a car accident in 2025. Jota and Al-Hilal's Ruben Neves were very close.

So much so that, after the accident, Ruben Neves took the No. 21 shirt for Portugal's national team and got a tattoo in tribute to his friend.

During a match played on Saturday (12), Al-Taawon fans chanted "Jota, Jota" in an attempt to unsettle Ruben Neves.

Al-Hilal won 6-0.

Cristiano Ronaldo took to social media to show his outrage and called for the fans to be BANNED from stadiums.

"The league has to act and punish this kind of fan behavior. This is no longer football, and there have to be limits," he wrote.

"People who behave like this should never again be allowed to enter a stadium," Cristiano Ronaldo added.

After Al-Taawon vs Al-Hilal, Ruben Neves also condemned the taunts:

"I just hope they don't go pray later after what they did," Ruben Neves said in the mixed zone of the stadium.
