Spurs handed boost ahead of Everton clash - but attacking duo suffer setbacks

Roberto De Zerbi has confirmed that James Maddison is ready to be involved against Everton.

The midifielder has missed the last three games in all competitions with a shoulder issue but has been deemed fit to return.

Dejan Kulusevski will remain sidelined for Tottenham having not trained during the past week, meanwhile.

The Swede has been out for more than a year with a knee injury and returned to training recently, but has since suffered a small setback.

"No, Kulusevski is not working with us the last week," the Spurs boss said. "It's not a big problem. It's a normal problem."

Mykhailo Mudryk is also unavailable after suffering what De Zerbi described as a "stupid injury", with Spurs taking care over his recovery following his lengthy spell without regular football.

"It was a stupid injury for Mudryk, but we hope he will be back soon," De Zerbi added. "It's a normal process when a player has not played in a long time."
