Watching Simone Biles winning almost every individual title at every competition she entered has become a common sight in recent years. From the Olympic stage to the World Championships, no elite gymnastics event remains unconquered by the GOAT. For years, it felt like there wouldn’t be any successor to the incredible legacy that Simone Built. But it seems like another star is on the rise and the 7x Olympic champ can’t stop but take up the role of a cheerleader. In her Instagram story from October 21, Biles gave a shout-out to Dulcy Caylor. 19-year-old Caylor has been making waves in her World Championships debut nd has now advanced to the finals in Jakarta, Indonesia. Biles was elated by the success of her junior from the World Champions Centre, where both Caylor and the gymnastics phenom train. “GO @dulcycaylor. so proud of you!!!” Biles wrote in her IG story, sharing the OG post by USA Gymnastics.Simone also took the opportunity to gloat in the glory of the legacy that her family-owned gym is leaving behind in the world of elite gymnastics. “Go WCC!!!” Biles cheered. Her feelings aren’t unjustified. Caylor and Joscelyn Roberson, both representing the WCC and the Stars and Stripes at the 2025 World Championships, have carried Team USA all the way to the final. At the World Team selection in September, Caylor even outmatched the more seasoned Roberson to win the event.ADVERTISEMENTArticle continues below this adBut Caylor’s World debut will undoubtedly go down as one of the best in history. After a botched Tkatchev, the Florida Gators student fell on the bars to make a poor start to her day. However, she quickly bounced back in style by becoming the highest scoring American in all of the following three events. Thanks to her high scores in the beam, floor, and floor exercise events, Caylor finished with the highest all-around score among the Americans and qualified for the all-around final with the third-highest overall score. She also posted the second-highest score on vault, the third-highest score on balance beam, and the fourth-best on floor exercise of the all-around qualifiers. The teenager is the only Team USA member to have qualified for multiple finals at the World Championships. However, Roberson’s two-vault average of 13.599 earned her the right to represent the nation in the vault final.ADVERTISEMENTArticle continues below this adEasy to understand why Simone Biles feels so incredibly proud of Dulcy’s achievement in Asia. In some ways, she might even argue that training with her has helped Caylor sharpen her own skills. Whatever it may be, there can’t be anything taken away from how Caylor is making the most of her World Championships debut campaign.Biles, on the other hand, while cheering for Team USA, is living her life away from the gymnastics floor.Read Top Stories First From EssentiallySportsClick here and check box next to EssentiallySportsADVERTISEMENTArticle continues below this adSimone Biles is savoring every moment of her post-Olympic lifeSince completing her redemption arc at the 2024 Paris Olympics, the 28-year-old has yet to return to gymnastics.
