Football Tracker: Greenwood scores four as Marseille, Inter, Arsenal & Bayern end day on top

23:03 CET - Mason Greenwood has scored four goals (that’s right, four!) in Marseille’s 6-2 thrashing of Le Havre in Ligue 1.

OM were actually trailing 1-0 before Le Havre lost a man, with Greenwood then netting four unanswered goals… some game from the Englishman. The win moves Marseille top of the standings.

22:57 CET - In the final LaLiga clash of the day, Atletico Madrid have beaten Osasuna 1-0 thanks to a second-half goal from Thiago Almada, his first for the club.

The victory sees Diego Simeone’s side hop up into the top four as they continue to recover from a poor start to the season.

20:40 CET - Inter have narrowly beaten Roma, 1-0, in the capital, making things very interesting at the top of the Serie A standings.

The win, coupled with Napoli’s loss earlier, sees Inter go top, level on points with both Roma and Napoli.

21:52 CET - Moving over to Madrid, where Atleti and Osasuna are still goalless at the break.

In Marseille, OM are level at 1-1 with 10-man Le Havre, approaching half-time.

21:34 CET - At half-time in the Italian capital, Inter are leading their hosts Roma 1-0 thanks to a goal from Ange-Yoan Bonny, who has scored in his second consecutive Serie A match.

20:55 CET - Monaco have dropped points in Ligue 1 for the third game running, drawing 1-1 away at Angers.

20:40 CET - We have some interesting late games to look forward to this evening...

Kicking off in just five minutes, Serie A leaders AS Roma are hosting Inter in a mouthwatering clash.

At the hour in Spain, Atletico Madrid are taking on Osasuna, while just after the hour, Marseille host Le Havre in Ligue 1.

20:32 CET - Arsenal have retaken their lead at the summit of the Premier League thanks to a 1-0 win over London neighbours Fulham.

Of course, it was another set-piece goal which proved the difference for the Gunners!

20:24 CET - Bayern Munich have gone five points clear at the top of the Bundesliga after beating rivals Dortmund 2-1 in Der Klassiker.

Goals from Harry Kane and Michael Olise were decisive for the Bavarians, who are looking like they may run away with the league once again in Germany.

19:59 CET - Defending champions Napoli have failed to go back to the top of Serie A, suffering a shock 1-0 loss at Torino.

19:22 CET - Over in London, Arsenal and hosts Fulham are goalless at the break at Craven Cottage.

19:18 CET - At half-time in Der Klassiker, Bayern Munich are leading Dortmund 1-0 thanks to, you guessed it, another Harry Kane goal, his 12th of the league season.

18:58 CET - Lyon have missed out on the chance to go top of Ligue 1 after narrowly losing 3-2 to Nice away. After PSG dropped points last night, they'll be kicking themselves.

Over in Munich, meanwhile, Harry Kane has scored his 400th club career goal to put Bayern into a 1-0 lead over Dortmund in Der Klassiker.

18:50 CET - At half-time in Turin, Italian champions Napoli are 1-0 down to their hosts Torino, who lead thanks to Giovanni Simeone's goal.

18:20 CET - A late winner has saved Hansi Flick's bacon in LaLiga!

Desperate for a late winner to get their season back on track, Hansi Flick rolled the dice by chucking centre-back Ronald Araujo up top, and the defender paid him back with a striker's finish deep into added time to win Barcelona the game against Girona.

18:15 CET - Last up in the Premier League today sees league leaders Arsenal travel to Fulham in a fascinating London derby from 18:30 CET.

18:00 CET - Manchester City delivered a big second-half performance to defeat Everton 2-0 and it will surprise absolutely nobody to know that Erling Haaland scored both goals in another clinical display. That is 11 goals now in eight Premier League games for the robot.

Haaland has somehow taken his game to another level this season and there looks to be nothing stopping him.

Elsewhere, a Jean-Philippe Mateta-inspired second-half comeback from Crystal Palace helped the home side draw 3-3 against Bournemouth in a Premier League classic.

The French striker scored a brilliant hat-trick, including a penalty deep into injury time, to steal a point.

Finally, Brighton stunned Newcastle United after a brilliant brace by Danny Welbeck to move into the top half of the Premier League.

17:52 CET - Team news is also in from a huge game in the Bundesliga as Bayern Munich host Borussia Dortmund in the Der Klassiker from 18:30 CET as Bayern look to continue their perfect start to the season.

17:22 CET - Christoph Baumgartner was the star of the show after scoring a goal in each half to help RB Leipzig to a big 2-1 win against Hamburger to move into second in the Bundesliga for now at least.

17:05 CET - Over in LaLiga, Barcelona are somehow level at the break against Girona despite the visitors having chance after chance in a chaotic first half.

After the classy Pedri gave Barcelona the lead with a clever finish, Axel Witsel ran the years back with a stunning bicycle-kick to equalise before Girona began to dominate the chances.

At least three times, Girona found themselves in behind and one-on-one against the keeper, but failed to take their chances. Hansi Flick's side have been hugely let off the hook.

16:52 CET - The half-time whistle has gone across the Premier League grounds. The headline story is Brighton lead Newcastle United 1-0 thanks to a goal by Premier League veteran Danny Welbeck.

Meanwhile, Manchester City are being frustrated at the Etihad by a stubborn Everton as it remains 0-0 at the break.

Finally, Bournemouth look to be continuing their strong start to the season in a tricky away trip to Crystal Palace as they lead 2-0 away from home after a brace by teenage star Eli Junior Kroupi. In a battle between two of the league's highest-rated coaches, it is Andoni Iraola who is coming out on top so far.

16:40 CET - The first game of the day in Ligue 1 is a big one as Lyon have the chance to move top of the league away to Nice after PSG dropped more points last night.

15:47 CET - Some breaking news to bring you as Ange Postecoglou has been sacked by Nottingham Forest! Just minutes after Forest's underwhelming 3-0 loss at home to Chelsea, Forest have released a statement on X (formerly known as Twitter) to announce he has been relieved of his duties to bring an to the shortest managerial reign in Premier League history.

Brutal.

15:25 CET - Chelsea turned up in the second half to win 3-0 and pile more pressure on Ange Postecoglou.

It was a much-improved performance from the visitors, who relied on two set-piece goals and a bullet header from talented centre-back Josh Acheampong to make it eight winless games for Postecoglou since his appointment.

15:15 CET - It is one hour until Barcelona time in LaLiga! After two setback defeats in the week before the international break, the Catalan giants will be hoping to get their title challenge back on track at home to Girona this afternoon.

The surprising team news comes from Enzo Maresca as the Chelsea boss rests the in-form Moises Caicedo and starts Malo Gusto in the midfield alongside Romeo Lavia.

Meanwhile, after his monologue in the pre-match press conference, Ange Postecoglou looks to have altered his formation to a back five and surprisingly starts Taiwo Awoniyi up front ahead of Chris Wood.

The action resumes after the international break over in England, where the under-pressure Ange Postecoglou and his Nottingham Forest side face a tough test at home to Chelsea.

Manchester City will also be in Premier League action today, while table-toppers Arsenal look to continue their momentum with a London derby at Fulham.

In the Bundesliga, while Bayer Leverkusen will be aiming to pick up three points, the real standout clash is Der Klassiker, with the unbeaten and relentless Bayern Munich playing host to Borussia Dortmund - who are also unbeaten and sitting four points off them in second.

Barcelona and Atletico Madrid are both in LaLiga action a little later on, before Roma meets Inter Milan in a superb Serie A clash, and defending champions Napoli visit Torino.
