Karachi Whites reached the National T20 Cup 2026 final with a five-wicket win over Sialkot in the first semi-final at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium.Muhammad Umar’s economical bowling performance and Abdullah Fazal’s blistering half-century played key roles in securing the victory, which booked Karachi Whites a place in the final of the 10-team tournament.Sialkot captain Usama Mir’s decision to bat first backfired as his side posted 165-9 in their 20 overs despite a solid effort from Hasan Nawaz. Nawaz top-scored with 43 off 33 balls, including two fours and two sixes, while opening batter Khawaja Arham added 40 off 33 deliveries with three sixes and two fours.Wicketkeeper-batter Ali Afzal contributed 26, captain Usama made 19, and opener Mohsin Riaz scored 15, but the rest of the batting lineup struggled against a disciplined Karachi Whites bowling attack.Muhammad Umar led the bowling effort with figures of 3 for 29 in four overs. Mohammad Asghar supported him with two wickets, while Danish Aziz, Saqib Khan, and Mir Hamza claimed one wicket each.Chasing 166, Karachi Whites comfortably reached the target with five wickets down and 29 balls remaining.The chase began strongly as Abdullah Fazal and captain Saud Shakeel put together a 92-run opening stand. Shakeel scored 45 off 21 balls, hitting five fours and three sixes, before being dismissed by Usama Mir.Karachi Whites briefly lost momentum after his dismissal, losing three more wickets quickly, but Abdullah continued to anchor the innings. The left-handed opener scored a match-winning 88 off 41 balls, including seven sixes and six fours, before being dismissed in the 14th over by Hamza Nazar.With the score at 146-5, Danish Aziz (15 not out) and Haroon Arshad (7 not out) added an unbeaten 21 runs to guide Karachi Whites to victory in the 16th over.For Sialkot, captain Usama Mir was the standout bowler with figures of 3 for 46, while Hamza Nazar and Sufiyan Muqeem took one wicket each.Karachi Whites will face Abbottabad in National T20 Cup final at the same venue on Wednesday.
