ATP Doha Semifinal Predictions

The ATP Doha 2025 edition is poised for an exciting finish with multiple top seeds in the fray fighting it out with exciting talent. The semifinal matches are going to be very close and full of amazing tennis. As ever, we at LWOT preview and predict both the semifinal clashes for you.

ATP Doha Semifinal Predictions

Jack Draper vs Jiri Lehecka

Head-to-head – Draper 1-1 Lehecka

Jack Draper hasn’t played much this year. The Brit reached the fourth round at the Australian Open, where he retired mid-match. It has been a successful return to the tour after a month with impressive wins this week. He has been broken only once this week and his overall game looks in decent nick.

Jiri Lehecka is a pretty dangerous opponent this year and the Czech is swiftly coming up the ranks. He has knocked out some pretty big names and his most recent scalp is Carlos Alcaraz in the quarterfinals here at Doha after being down a break in the third set. Expect a very tight battle as Lehecka will look to open up the court but Draper carrier more firepower and his aggressive game style should yield him the win.

Felix Auger-Aliassime vs Andrey Rublev

Head-to-head – Auger-Aliassime 1-5 Rublev

Felix Auger-Aliassime has made a great start to 2025 and he has played like the man to beat this week. The Canadian will no doubt be well rested after Daniil Medvedev retired after the first set. Auger-Aliassime is enjoying the conditions at Doha but it won’t be easy as he faces Andrey Rublev who has beaten him five out of the six times they have played each other.

Rublev hasn’t had a good start to 2025 but this week the Russian has fought hard to reach the last four. He does enjoy the upper hand in this rivalry but their matches have been close and Rublev isn’t very confident at these stages this year. Expect Rublev to fight hard but Auger-Aliassime’s serve and overall ground strokes are looking more solid than Rublev.

Prediction: Auger-Aliassime in 3
